Event Name: Belmont Turkey Trot 5k
Date: Thursday November 27th, 2025 at 8:00 am (Pre-registration 7:00 am -7:45 am)
Location: Lutheran Church of Holy Comforter Belmont, NC
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the above-mentioned event, I hereby agree to the following:

Acknowledgment of Risk: I understand that participation in this event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or even death. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in this event and assume all risks associated with my participation.

Release of Liability: I, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, or any affiliated parties for any claims or damages arising out of or related to my participation in this event, even if caused by negligence.

Medical Consent: I certify that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in this event. I consent to receive medical treatment in the event of injury or illness during the event.

Photographic Release: I grant permission to the event organizers to use photographs or videos of me taken during the event for promotional purposes.

Governing Law: This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina.
